In order to support home adjustments needed for a friend and colleague who had become wheelchair bound, ServiceMaster staff organised a charity car wash. The company head office was made available in which to hold the event, providing all the equipment and various staff members got baking so that a slice of cake and a cup of tea could be enjoyed by the car owners.
There was great camaraderie on the day and the fantastic sum of £720 was raised. With a further donation from Nick Dee Shapland, MD of ServiceMaster, we were able to pay for new patio doors to be installed in order to provide a point of access wide enough for a wheelchair.
